 he village of Beltinci is an administrative centre and with 2,280 inhabitants the largest settlement in the municipality of Beltinci. From an urban point of view, the village is a typical Pannonian settlement which grew along the main road and on the banks of the Črnec stream. The central part of the settlement, which is marked by the castle and church on one side and by the main road on the other, was more distinctively developed.
Beltinci Castle dates back to the 15th/16th century. In the castle, one can find a permanent exhibition, Zgodovina zdravstva v Pomurju (History of the Health Care in Pomurje), with an emphasis on pharmacology, ZTK Beltinci with the tourist information office, an exhibition room, a wedding hall, and a restaurant
A musical and dancing tradition, as well as the folklore festival, give the village its international reputation
